Inside The Canopy Files

Nov 29, 2021

UNC Charlotte's Childress Klein Center for Real Estate (CKCRE) just released its third annual State of Housing in Charlotte Report, which was presented by Dr. Yongqiang Chu, Director of the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate (CKCRE).

Inside the Canopy Files podcast hosts David Kennedy and Lee Allen join Dr. Chu, and take a deeper look at the implications of the report, which included a comprehensive inventory of the current housing stock, an analysis of housing affordability across all income levels, and a higher-level comparison of the Charlotte regional housing market. The 2021 report also looked at the new 2020 U.S. Census data and housing in Charlotte over the past decade as well as the effect the pandemic had on the Charlotte housing market this past year.
